Her tone CLICKS; hands pulled back to reveal bare palms, lips curling into the hint of a smile that was neither amused nor strained. It was a motion made simply for show, a motion to both unsettle the inquirer and bring doubt upon the inquiry itself, for something as DULL and DRONED as that FOUL impression. The idea that she had been TRICKED, instead of IMPULSIVE – tricked, instead of embarking on a choice she made MUCH too quickly, with all the IMPATIENCE of someone who wanted what she wanted THEN and NOW. In that sense, she was more akin to her daughters than they may have cared to even know – but now, in her LAURELS, she is NOT.

( Does Ragyo count as the ‘ muse I’ve always wanted to play ‘? I’ve found her interesting long before I ever finished KLK. Besides her, though, I’ve wanted to write a personification muse – the personification of loneliness, to be precise. )
